tapID respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect personal information when you use tapID digital card, account, insights, messaging, lead capture, billing and accessory services.
1. Information we collect
We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, profile photo, business details, card username, contact links, social links, messages, support enquiries and information submitted through lead or contact forms.
We may also collect technical and usage information such as card views, clicks, device type, browser type, approximate location derived from technical data, IP address, timestamps and insights events.

We use personal information to create and manage your tapID account, display your public digital card, process messages and leads, provide insights, process payments, provide support, improve the service and maintain security.
3. Public card information
Information you publish on a digital card may be publicly accessible through your card URL and QR/NFC links. You are responsible for choosing what information to publish. Draft or unpublished cards are not intended to be publicly available.
4. Payments and subscriptions
Payments are processed through Stripe. tapID does not store full card numbers. Stripe may collect and process payment information in accordance with its own policies and security standards.
5. Sharing information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate tapID, including hosting, authentication, payment processing, email delivery, insights and support tools. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users or systems.
